Alberta’s Only All-Girls Summer Camp!!!

Camp Wohelo has been providing girls, mothers and young children the opportunity to create friendships, develop skills and make memories in an interdenominational Christian environment for over 40 years.
Camps are available for girls 9-17 and for Moms and their young children.

Peaceful Valley Provincial Recreation Area

Located 1.2 km south off Hwy #13 on Hwy #771. With views of beautiful Battle River Valley, its primary purpose is to enrich the quality of life for the elderly, physically challenged, terminally ill and other disadvantaged groups. There are 1.6 km of wheelchair accessible trails and day lodge. The lodge accommodates up to 30 wheelchair visitors enclosed living-dining area flanked by open air decks, kitchen, washrooms, & emergency first-aid room.
