Directions: South on Hwy 2 (Calgary Trail) from Edmonton or North from Calgary on Edmonton Trail about 30 minutes. Take Mameo Beach turn off -West on Hwy 13 about 30 km then turn right on Sec 771 and follow the signs to Pigeon Lake Provincial Park.

Details:

RAISE $ to help families with cancer and have a fantastic day at the lake. Cyclists ride 60 km ride all around the lake (registration 8am, ride 9am) or 20km to Norris Beach and back (registration 9am, ride 10am) - or go as far as you like. Since the dictionary definition of pedal /ped·al/ (ped´'l) is pertaining to the foot or feet - the goal of the Pigeon Lake Pedal is to have everyone use their feet in "Pushing the Cure for Cancer". Everyone meets back at the Pigeon Lake Provincial Park for a BBQ and prize draw at noon. Free registration with $500 collected and submitted to the Alberta Cancer Foundation by July 2, 2009 or $35 registration on event day.
